How we handle inquiry information
This notice applies to information submitted through quotation and distributor-partnership forms on this website.
Information we collect
For RFQs, we collect the product, quantity, destination, specification, packaging, Incoterm, company, contact name, business email, WhatsApp number, message and source page. For partnership requests, we may also collect partnership type, target market, company website, product interest, market experience and cooperation proposal.
Why we use it
We use the information only to review an industrial-material requirement or partnership proposal, clarify technical or commercial details, prepare a response, understand which pages help industrial buyers, prevent abuse and maintain the inquiry record.
Form processing
Our inquiry form is handled by Zhonghao's own website service. It stores the inquiry, sends a notification to Eric and applies spam checks. Your information is not automatically added to a marketing list.
Website visit information
If you accept optional analytics, our own website service records limited first-party visit information: page path, referral and campaign parameters, language, selected contact actions, a random browser identifier, a session identifier, IP address and browser user agent. We use this information to measure website usefulness, distinguish likely automated security checks from buyer activity and improve the inquiry path. An IP address or browser identifier does not prove a visitor's personal identity.
Retention
An inquiry that does not become an order is retained for up to 12 months and then deleted during the monthly record review. If a transaction is completed, relevant customer and transaction records may be retained separately as required for the business relationship and applicable record-keeping duties.
Analytics retention
Raw website event records are retained for up to 90 days for traffic quality and conversion analysis. Aggregated reports may be retained without using them to identify an individual.
Security and spam protection
The form may use a hidden honeypot, Cloudflare Turnstile and server-side validation. These controls help distinguish genuine inquiries from automated abuse.
Your choices
You may accept optional website analytics or choose necessary functions only. Necessary-only mode does not create our analytics visitor or session identifiers and does not send website-usage events. You can reopen Privacy settings in the footer and change your choice at any time. Privacy consent on an RFQ or partnership form allows us to respond to that request; it is not marketing consent. To request access, correction or deletion of an unconverted inquiry, email eric@smzhenergy.com.
