A useful carbon-adjustment RFQ identifies the steel grade, furnace route, point of addition and target carbon increase. Without those fields, quotations may refer to different particle sizes or impurity assumptions.
Specify the material window
Confirm fixed carbon, sulfur, ash, volatile matter, moisture and phosphorus. State whether a particular test method, retained sample or third-party inspection is required.
Define handling and dissolution expectations
Select a particle-size range and explain how the material will be charged. Trial records should capture dissolution time, recovery and operational observations under the buyer’s own procedure.
Confirm the transaction basis
Catalog values are reference data. The final order must record specification, size tolerance, packing, sampling, documents and commercial terms.
